Toasted Black Russian
25ml Vodka
25ml Coffee liqueur (Illy if you have it, Kahlua if you don’t or Tia Maria if you have to)
25ml Amaretto
Build that in a lowball glass, give it a quick stir and sip slowly.

According to me:
I know what you’re thinking, that’s a modified black russian only it’s got no coke. And you’re wrong. Black Russians shouldn’t have coke, they’re to be enjoyed without mixer, however like all alcohol eventually some mug couldn’t hack it and filled the glass with coke. The toasted Russian is an amazing drink, I for one hate coffee but the depth of flavour when amaretto and coffee meet cannot be sniffed at. You could serve this white (by filling the glass with half and half) but only if you intend to have it as your bed time drink and haven’t even smelled anything citric for the last hour or so, I’m not really a fan of dairy products in my beverages because of the unique ability of anything dairy to curdle and cause explosive projectile vomiting on my bar.
Maybe you’re demanding, what if you wanted a third option? Maybe you have a female guest over and want to really impress her, maybe you’re at the bar and you want to let the gold digging slut you just pulled that you mean business. Well my son this is where old uncle Jurg has you covered. As our next Amaretto fuelled concoction I present for your consideration: The Peach and Almond Belini
