The Moscow Mule
Built in a high ball and topped up with ginger beer. Lime garnish please.
According to Wikipedia:
Wikipedia’s lawyers have sent us a cease and desist order concerning calling for comment on alcoholic beverages.
According to me:
This isn’t really a cocktail. What we have here is vodka and ginger beer with a touch of lime. To be fair I get a bit of mileage out of this and all beverages containing ginger beer because I am in possession of one genuine goatee beard of the ginger variety. So I get a giggle or two when I look confused and ask customers if they really want my facial topiary in a beverage. That’s about as interesting as I get with this one. It’s much like a cuba libre insofar as it’s an excuse to charge more for a simple spirit and mixer.
